January brings the first new features to Nomindo since the release at the end of December 2024.
GPS Routes in Trips
You can now add a GPS route to a trip via a GPX file, which will then be displayed on a map. It is possible to add more than one route per trip, for example, if additional excursions have been made.
GPS routes can be recorded in different ways. Recommended options include OwnTracks, OpenTracks, or Organic Maps.

Sharing Trips via Link
Trips can be shared via a private link with people who are not registered on Nomindo. This allows you to share with friends and family while traveling.
The private link provides limited access to the trip; not all data is accessible.

Further Improvements
In addition to the new features, several improvements have been made:
- If you are not a member of a trip group when creating a trip, an appropriate message is displayed.
- Travel groups are searched directly on Nomindo during input, so the form does not need to be reloaded after creating a new travel group.
- When adding campsites to trips, Nomindo is also searched directly, and additional information about the found campsites is displayed. This makes it easier to find the right campsite. Further improvements will be made in this area in the future.
More information is available in the Changelog.
Upcoming Features
The development of new features is currently focused on planning, so that trips can be best planned for the upcoming season. Details are available on the Roadmap.
